BY GCS Athletics Brunswick High Qualified 6 Wrestlers for the State Tournament this past weekend at the Sectional Wrestling Tournament at Lanier High School!! 1. Anthony Lowe won the Sectional Tournament and is currently 47-0 in the 215-pound division!! He has only been scored on once this year!! Anthony is an 11th Grader and was 3rd in the State Last Year!! 2. Clayton Hicks was 2nd in the Sectional Tournament and is currently 35-2 on the season in the 113-pound division. Clayton is a 10th grader and was 4th in the State Last Year!! 3. Sebastian Hutchinson was 2nd in the Sectional Tournament and is currently 38-5 on the season in the 175-pound division!! Sebastian is a 12th grader and is making his third trip to the State Championships!! 4. Comari Cone was 3rd in the Sectional Tournament and is currently 36-3 on the season in the 144-pound division. Camari is a 12th grader and making his third trip to the State Championships!! 5. Blake Etheridge was 3rd in the Sectional Tournament and is currently 49-2 on the season in the 157-pound division. Blake is a 12th grader and was 5th in the State Championships the last two years!! 6. River Creel was 3rd in the Sectional Tournament and is currently 42-7 on the season in the 285-pound division. River is an 11th-grader and is making his second trip to the State Championships! The State Meet will be Thursday and Friday at the Macon Centerplex!! Wrestling will begin on Thursday at 1:00 PM!! The Championship Finals will be on Friday at 4:00 PM!!
